Hi all, this is the first image I've done for the new character in my as-yet-unreleased series 'Rage & Fury', I'm thinking her name might be Yuri, but I might change it. Let me know what you think as I have time to make adjustments to her. Does she look somewhat engaging? She's a human who practices chaos magic and uses it to trap our two shinigami Rage and Fury in the physical world for her own purposes.

Anyway, this was actually a double hit as I did this for the cover of Sussex Uni's student magazine to go with my article on contempoary Japanese pop culture.

Please note that as I did this on A3 and had to have it shrunk at the copy shop for scanning, the colours fucked up and it looks weird. The original is a lot less contrasty. I'm going to have it done properly for the cover to preserve the colour as best I can.

I'm really proud of this one as I didn't use any references at all, I did it all using a mirror (no, I don't look like that in real life). I'm still thinking of adding directional shading to the floor and maybe photoshopping out the bottle... it's a bit...distracting I think.
